I just looked this case up online and according to the article, after she was sentenced, she addressed the families of the people she killed in open court and was quoted as saying, "I will live with this everyday, and i will try to live for all of us." So even when she's stone cold sober, she was still of the opinion that she was the victim, and telling the families that she was somehow going to make up for killing their loved ones by "living for them". Truly a complete psychopath.

I'm an addict, 2 years clean and sober, I was under the influence of fentanyl and got behind the wheel. 10 cars called the cops on me (thank god) and I was pulled over before I hurt anyone. When I was arrested I was basically asleep at the wheel and I came too pretty quickly once I realized the severity of the situation, I was so ashamed and humiliated. I thank my higher power every single day that my stupidity didn't hurt anyone. That's something I live with everyday is just the fact I got lucky. it's been the biggest challenge getting my licence back now that im sober, but every time I get annoyed of the fines and the process - I have to remind myself - I could have killed someone. that's the part that haunts me everyday. watching these videos reminds me of how stupid I was and thank god I got lucky. I can't believe how unremourseful this girl is. I feel remorse everyday for my actions still just over the fact I COULD have killed someone. I hope anyone out there who drives under the influence can learn something from this. it's not worth it. trust me.

14 Years for a psychopath without the slightest bit of remorse for what she's done??? 'I am going to Vegas, I am gonna drink long drinks, I am gonna spend 500 dollars, when can I get my car back, when can I go back to school, I go to Bradley.' Never heard a bigger narcissist than that in my life. How they played this video and still only gave her 14 years is beyond me.

3 years ago my 17yr old daughter and her friend were hit head on by a drunk driver. My daughter spent 9 weeks in the hospital and is left permanently disabled; her friend was killed on impact.

99 days after the crash, the drunk and his girlfriend were making facebook posts about driving around doing errands, with “a couple of bar stops in between”.

The absolute ignorance and lack of empathy for others is astounding. Brandon kern is now serving 19 years in prison.

Please drive sober!
