THANK YOU!!! Spent over 2 freakin hours trying to pair dumb new remote to my tv according to their instructions. Went onto the website and did every single OTHER suggestion for when "if it doesn't work this way...try this" NOTHING worked. This dude literally fixed my prob 2 minutes in. YAY!!!!

Thank you! This video is the only one that worked. Have a German Shepherd puppy who destroyed the previous remote, & had to grab another (one of many) DirecTV Genie remotes laying around. Obviously, Directv’s customer service is useless, & I hate having to deal with them. Your instructions took less than a minute, & everything is operational. Again, thank you!

Can't leave without saying thanks, I'm HORRIBLE at this stuff & I couldn't get my Directv remote to do the volume, it would just change channels, thanks to this video I was able to fix it! Thanks so much!!

You are the man!! I added a Vizio sound bar to a Samsung TV with a DIRECTV genie. I was not able to program the Visio sound bar with the genie remote and had to use two remotes. The Samsung remote was not changing the volume even though it was a digital output. I reset the genie remote and went through the process of pairing it with the TV and then pairing it with a VIZIO Sound Bar and I’m all set. Thank you very much. Well done.

It took code #35 of 76 before my volume worked. I was about to give up but thought I may as try all of them. Once I pressed "It worked", my remote worked perfectly, so keep trying all of them! Thank you!
