DIRECTV Gemini Air | The Only Streamer You Will Ever Need!

The Gemini Air with DIRECTV service is a robust entertainment system with all the conveniences that you expect out of a premium system. In my experience the guide was easy to navigate and with access to over 60,000 on demand TV Show and Movies, I was able to view all my favorite content that I enjoy. The Gemini Air supports 4K and HDR content and the Video and Audio quality was simply stunning. Local channels are important so I was pleased to see that DIRECTV supports that as well and I was excited to see that that DIRECTV has unlimited cloud storage that I can view from the Gemini AIR, TV, and mobile application. This is a great service for some one looking for alternative to their current provider.

Hi Steve. I cut the cord a long time ago and went with YouTube TV using the Fire Stick. I'm very happy with it and the price can't be beat. The problem is that my 90-year-old Dad recently had to move in with me and the Fire Stick remote has been impossible for him to comprehend. Also, the fact that "channels" don't have numbers just makes it that much harder. The remote you use in this video looks very user-friendly and the system uses channel numbers. What I need to know is, does the Gemini Air and remote take the place of my Fire Stick? I wish these tech companies would consider the elderly population when developing these things.

All good BUT...with the Gemini Air device, I don't see program descriptions in the Guide like I do with Satellite Directv guide which is right there in your face plus one button takes to a compete description. I am new to Directv streaming and I don't like the programming descriptions, otherwise there is a lot to like. Thanks for your video, very good job!

Question...when you turn it on does it automatically go to the last Directv channel? Like the way you would turn on Satellite DirecTV? Or do you have to scroll and open up the DirecTV app?

Thank you from a very beginner with any technology. I've ordered DerecTV Stream. I know what I'm getting but I've been having nightmares about setting it up. I have an older TV. You're presenting the set-up in a very easy fashion. When the equipment arrives, you know what video I will be rewatching. Idon't care about watching on an iPhone...that's too advanced for a simpleton like me.😁

Can I connect a new identical remote controller to another TV that just has the DirecTV streaming app downloaded?

Unfortunately not every tv in my house is a smart tv, so we got the Gemini for our room. My problem is that at the "Set up Wireless Network" the Gemini won't let me enter my password to get access to my internet. The remote is paired and my network is highlighted, but it won't let me do anything else ? Not a good start to a new service..

I received on of these devices for Beta testing. They are pretty great when they work. I am hitting about the 2 year mark of use and am on my 3rd unit. The latest was delivered last week and within 2 days was exhibiting the same issue as the last two. I get a black screen when I turn the entertainment system on and after about 30 seconds I get a prompt on the screen that allow me to select 4 different options, one being to perform a system reset. That always works but this failure has happened multiple times in a single week and I will usually experience it at least once every 2-3 weeks. I also occasionally get the blue swirling buffering circle on the screen. None of the hard resets or other troubleshooting solutions solves the problem.

Hi i live in the uk and am interested in what you mentioned a cloud system with storage for up to 9 months I don't think we have this in the uk and as we are gradually moving on to total internet tv . Perhaps the big companies like Sky and Virgin etc are dragging their feet.Is this part of the DIRECTTV or is it your service provider?
