Instant Pot Valve TRICK!

Sometimes it seems like it takes forever for the instant pot to seal and you may try to help it along. Use this trick to give it a helping hand!

Even in 2024, buying a new instant pot and they still have this exact issue from time to time. Even after double cleaning valve, ring etc. Thank you man, this is the way.

So, this works. I will say this though. I have found that a lot of the time when I have had to do this, after I finish making whatever I am making I will do a really thorough cleaning of the entire instant pot. I have very small food particles in the lid track on the top of the unit itself. I use a wet q-tip and clean all inside that track. This seems to make a difference for a while. Your tip is a life saver! And a headache ender!!

Holy shit that works a lot of steam was leaking into my cabinets thanks.

I bought a new one because the old was always doing that and spilling water everywhere.

Then my month old pot stared to do the same thanks for the tip.
