As long as the country has debt problems, Congress and Senate do not need raises. Nor do they need the paycheck for life. We need to stop looking at ourselves as Republicans and Democrats and look at ourselves as humans and people who live in the USA. The unit as a whole. How will this bill affect the unit as a whole and what are the priorities? I also think we need term limits. How these people get stuck in their positions and do nothing except cause trouble is beyond comprehension.
