There exists a formal process in the United States Senate to confirm candidates for official government positions. Subpoena process also exists for their use if necessary. It is important to respect this process and use it ethically for the people of the United States of America.

One part of this saga regarding who Trump is attempting to get appointed, is the fact that not only are every member of the House of Representatives is up for re-election in the 2026 midterms, 33 members of the Senate are up for re-election, 20 Republicans and only 13 Democrats.
Those Republicans need to deal with reality, support Trump, or attempt to get re-elected, it's going to be one or the other.
