As a F2P I sometimes get sad that I didn’t get the character I really wanted (Klee for example) but when I think of it there’s more characters coming and I could always try for them.

Only buy welkin moon. But before being a welkin player, I saved up 32k primos for Albedo. Something I am quite proud of since I skipped all banners from 1.6 to 2.3, including banners of some favorite characters (Ayaka, Kazuha, Childe)

1- it's genuinely more fun to grind primos yourself and be careful with what you spend instead of wasting money left and right just to get a character
2- I hate spending money in games in general despite my capability to do it like any other whale lmao

Playing this game for 1 month now, my only 5 star is traveler and a weapon I got randomly from the standard banner. A few more days and Ganyu banner will come out and I will get my first 5 star character. It might not be ganyu but I have enough primogems to reach pity in 1 go.

Actually, Tip 1 is highly accurate. My friend is a whale and has every single character except Klee. Everytime we co-op I'll bring my Klee and re-tell the story how I got her with only 20 pulls :)

Why you should go dolphin
- loot, less grinding
- affordable enough
- ~1.5x primo than f2p (my 10k primo a month> f2p 6500-7500 a month
- still learn to save
- more character correlates more fun/happy also, not too much character to make you feel bored
- stronger account
- who cares about f2p flex. You can easily destroy them by showing them high primogem count

I'm F2P mostly because I have way more important things to pay for (not to mention I lost my job recently...) and it's more rewarding to pull 5 star character using earned primogems (or given by Mihoyo). Well, at least for me, I was overjoyed when I managed to pull Diluc

Another good thing is seeing your self get a 5 star event character you worked so hard to earn primogems for. Whale's event 5 stars are guaranteed.

- You can save money ofc
- You can use your financial skills and learn how to save
- It just makes the game fun

Being F2P actually showed me one thing and that is you shouldn't be salty for losing 50/50, instead you should make every 5* work except maybe Aloy and Traveller. Also 5* constellations are quite nice for F2P so just don't be sad for losing 50/50. Just make it work. But there is also the fact that my 50/50 losses were just extremely lucky and this time I had enough primos to guarantee Zhongli so there's also that.

As a whale, I recommend just staying F2P or a low spender. If you do wanna spend money, welkin moon is your best option
