I MADE A HUGE REFEED MISTAKE // DAY 7 REFEED AFTER 54 DAY FAST

I make a mistake and go to Costco the day before thanksgiving to grab eggs. I try to find nitrate free bacon at Savemart, but no luck there.

I treat myself to a massage. I make my famous cookies for friends. I won’t be having any so I test out making butter mochi- a dessert I discovered in Hawaii!

The blood test results are in after my 54 day long fast!

It’s time for my usual one meal day. I also accidentally over eat and feel terrible. So terrible that I can barley function…I am really struggling. I have not felt this bad since my travel day.

So thankful for your multitude of fasting videos, Mariah!! I’m currently at the 72 hour mark (goal of 128) and binge watching your videos helps get me thru the evening, which is the hardest part of the day for me to avoid food!!! Thank you!!!

Amazing! I’m portuguese too, my parents are from Madeira also an island off mainland Portugal (where I was born). I binge watched your 54 day fast and it was basically from watching your videos and also Sasha’s that I decided to start the snake diet. Work in progress still. I’m sure this experience will help you in the future when refeeding again.

How much water do you Drink on your refeed?

Just a question here - how come you are still.including the same amount of salts in your daily intake as prescribed in the snake juice? I just assume your food would account for the necessary salt intake. Just wondering as I will be refeeding soon.

Glad you're feeling better... I know intially when I fast and refeed.. My eyes are bigger than my stomach (normal food portion) .. And if i eat too much i feel sick as hell.. I have learnt to err on eating much less so that i want a little more... but i know if i do i will regret it.. Often a few mouthful of diff proteins is enough.. So i dont over do it..

Haha...I do that on refeeds sometimes. It here is the nice thing: you're a pro at this and I like how you tell us how you learn from your experiences. Great channel.

hey.. I wanted to ask if for you to pay attention to your skin the next month or so. since I began to eat carnivore I feel like my skin is looking older and more acne prone . also can u tell me how much water u drink while u refeed on days u dry fast all day?

Drinking water with your food will dilute the digestive juices in your stomach.. probably doesn’t help your digestion at all

Ive had a lot of success fasting. Did a 28 day, and a 20 Snake Juice fast, and have done only 36hr dry fast, but look forward to doing more. I have no consistency and have fallen back to old ways mostly due to alcohol. I have worked on that and believe I am ready to hit this running hardcore. You pics and videos are entertaining and inspirational. I plan on couple no carb days and then fast tim Christmas. Speaking of which, i have to make cookies, any chance I can have that recipe!? lol

Dry fasting doesnt seem to be very effective in terms of fat loss. Crazy rebound when you start eating. With regular fasting i gain only 2-3kg after 3+ day fasts, but with dry fasting i gain all back and then some even when calories are controlled. But it seems to only be temporary water gain.

Whenever I do a fast for more that 24hrs, I break my fast with something light, like soup or a protein and fat shake... and then slooowly eat more solids, the next meal. Refeeding isn’t supposed to be gorging. The body needs to be slowly reintroduced to eating, after a multiple day fast.

I’m curious why you need to still be drinking the salts and electrolytes if you’re not doing the extended fasting right now? Why still drinking bone broth and all, as well? Just genuinely trying to learn. Thanks. 😊
