Please take a page from Canada. There needs to be a law that puts a cap on campaign spending with severe consequences when that law isn't obeyed. It also has to be prohibited for corporations to fund campaigns, with a way to report people and corporations who use frontmen to fund campaigns. This alone will help a LOT.
