Solutions to clean energy, affordable housing, and accessible healthcare already exist — but they’re stuck in regulatory limbo. This man is unblocking them.

3D-printed homes assembled in 24 hours. At-home eye exams performed from your smartphone. Modular nuclear reactors that can produce affordable, clean, and safe energy in record times.

These are just a few of the innovations that Trust Ventures provides funding and support to, to take their ambitious ideas and turn them into reality. This venture capital fund invests in changemakers and out-of-the-box thinkers, who are developing new technologies that offer bottom-up solutions to issues in housing, healthcare, energy, and more.

In this Big Interview, Trust Ventures founder Sal Churi explains how regulations that may have started with the intention of keeping us safe can be used as tools to kill competition and stand in the way of breakthrough progress.

If we want to stop doing idiotic things as a society, we need to first make sure everyone receives a full education in critical thinking, physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. If we had more cognitively competent voters choosing competent politicians to enact sensible laws, we'd not be in this situation to begin with.

How bad are things in America? I'm a 68yo disabled woman who feels my government wants me dead to end my benefits. I once felt pride in my nation but now I'm only afraid of it.

This video is awesome because it exposes the fact bureaucrats don't actually want to solve our problems they just want to make money off of us.

The house printing is cool, but how will this be like in following international earthquake standards to earthquake prone areas, or in places with sea water and corrosion.

If consumers were really up to date with technology wouldn't they recognize a lot of planned obsolescence?
