There is a start screen that has some great starting points like updates, drivers, firewall, colors for the file system, and time shift for restart points.

Some things to load after Mint is in, microsoft fonts needs to be added to use windows fonts in the office suite. I like Stacer as a cleanup and to see how things are going in the system.

First I installed Cinnamon but then tried Mate because I thought that it would be lighter on resources but there were many small things here and there that I didn't like so back to Cinnamon

You installed Mint on an iOS device!? I thought Linux was primarily intended for PC's and would not run on an Apple.

Great video, I think the slow download speed had to do with the low reception strength of your wifi, it didn't seem to get many bars.

Updates Don't break my system, option run it on a old laptop for 3yrs the laptop died before mint now its update this update that bloody annoying

There giving you a terminal because Linux user can't figure out that Windows users are not looking to use a terminal for everything.
