I made a video and thought it was bad - but I posted it anyway. The client loved it, my followers loved, and the engagement was unreal. I realized it was all internal than anything else. Thanks for this Video Pete!

Chatting about perfectionism with you in Dubai was a highlight of the trip. Getting out of our own way and just making can be super challenging!

I feel like you made this video just for me. Literally struggling with this right now. Thank you ❤️

Always love to see your videos! Would love to see more videos like:
1. EDC
2. What's in my camera bag
3. Office tour and setup
4. Cool new cameras and unboxings
5. More videos on behind-the-scenes of a major project or shoot.
6. Your workflow. What's your process around publishing YouTube videos, from start to finish?
7. Time management. How do you manage your time? Running your business, YouTube, family, and everything else going on in your life.
8. Last but not the least, coffee! More cool coffee videos pls!

Not every video needs to be a movie, unless you're a movie maker. Get an idea, record it, post it.

So refreshing to see somebody with a channel your size still being able to relate to the struggles of somebody just starting

This is a huge help, Peter! I've been a total procrastinator lately, so it's awesome to see someone else admit to it. It's inspiring to know that even successful people like you struggle with this.

NAILED IT! We can so quickly get into this trap and the other trap is overthinking the F$%K out of everything - From "somebody else had made this" to "I'm saying the same Sh3T as everyone else| and so on. Been firing out vids on YouTube for around 6-7 years now, and this year was the first time (for a few reasons) that there was a month between uploads. The first week went by realy quick. Then the second week. And then, the over thinking and self doubt creeps in. And then it's "F$%K IT" - A month has flown by.

Once you get back on the horse, that fu$ker doesn't really want to move, but you keep going because somewhere deep down is something. It's a spark, it's a willing, maybe it's just sheer stupidity and perseverence. Thanks Pete, needed this one today!

I love that this video does both of the things you described, just talking about it but then following through with it! You’re an inspiration man!

Needed this you don't know dude. Been watching your channel since before we started doing youtube. Wanted to be a film maker first and foremost. Our fanbase knows this and they always push me(Aaron) to make films. And i guess i've been stuck and I needed this! thanks buddy

Damn it, Pete! I really needed to see that video in that exact moment... Been wanting to start my own youtube channel forever now and every time someone or something (or myself) stopped me. This video made more really inspired to start! Also, i am a musician, and what you said about the more you dont do the harder it is to do is absolutely true! i decided to take a break from recording for 6 months... its been 2 years now and its really hard to start!
And yeah, when ideas come and inspiration is at its highest - its better to do right away, cause it all fades!

Thank you so much for this video, Pete! I will keep rewatching it until my first youtube video is released or a new song recorded!

universal timing is incredible because this video right here is what I’ve been going through for the past 6 or so months & to see one of my favorite and OG creators I’ve followed since pursuing photography/cinematography talk about their struggle with this is so refreshing & definitely inspiring to get me out of this rut!

Dear Peter,

Over the years, I have learned a lot from you, and I’m deeply grateful for that.

Create your videos however you want and post them. Rest assured, among billions of people, there are many who would love to see your ideas.

Even if the algorithm doesn’t favor showing your work, we’ll still come and watch your videos.

Pete is back!! Even if you think you've "outgrown" his content (like me). This video hit home more than any video of yours I've ever seen. Not only that, I felt the value within a minute of the intro. I NEEDED this today 😅🤘🏻

I started following you about 6 years ago to brush up on filmmaking tips, gear and humor, but have admittedly moved on. Now that you've pivoted deeper into mindset and wisdom, I can confidently say I'll be watching most of your videos again (unless its gear reviews lol).

You never outgrow wisdom...

I just found this guy recently through a video “the bucket shot” and each video is like a movie and it’s so inspiring!

Analysis paralysis can keep you from “just hitting record”. I’m off to the theater room to film a new video. Thank you for all that you do,

Thanks Peter - I filmed material for about 5 or 6 vlogs this year - none of them made it out the can. Exactly what you’re talking about.
