I played through Dread on switch. My son loved watching me play. So we are now working our way through all the Metroid games together. We've played zero mission and now we are both playing Samus returns on 3DS. Games look great and there are some absolute gems on the system. Love it!

I’ve never admitted this but my dad bought me one when I was like 6. These 3 girls would always bother/ bully me and decided to take it to a summer program since it was boring. On the ride home I woke up and realized it was gone (they were the only ones in the car with me) so yeah I only got to use it for 2 days and I am still mad at myself for letting them get away with that 🤦‍♀️.

It's kind of amazing this handheld from 2011 had no glasses 3D, but here in the "future" we're still using 2D flat screens. They're clearer and have nicer colors, but still look flat as a billboard.

I have a red one that was my sisters when she was around my age and I play it way more than my switch lite. Unfortunately I lost it in my house for about 3 years but I found it again. Bought a new charger, (cuz I lost that too) and played the only game I could find in there, which is my favorite. Nintendogs + cats. My mom found a spare ds stylus recently, and even if it doesn’t go inside the console securely, it’s fine cuz it just stays in my room. I’m happy I have it, and soon I’m gonna get some other things for it.

I actually just ordered one off of Mercari a few days ago, and its been shipped. I was able to get a rare color one called Glossy Pink from a very nice seller at a really good price point. Love 3ds, it's been my favorite console for years, and I've played nearly every popular console during my life.

I have the exact 3ds on my lap I have to have it on the black dock bc when I was a kid I broke the charging port on the ds
It's hard to find anything 3ds it's all xl I just wanna fix this to its peak and make younger me around if anyone knows where I can get parts for the original 3ds comment below

I think it is. But it depends on the money you have. The old 2DS is probably the best budget 3DS to get cause they normally go for $60 to $80 on eBay. The absolute best 3DS regardless of price is the New 3DS XL though. You get the upgraded hardware plus an extra large screen.

The New 3DS line had a upgraded CPU & ram over the old 3DS line. Like there are games like Minecraft & Xenoblade that will only run on a New 3DS. But the New 3DS line is expensive.

I wanted to get a new 3ds xl but there weren’t many games that’s worth playing to get the system. I guess I’ll just stick with the dsi xl. I am so surprise on how disappointing the 3d castlevania game was for the 3ds.

For me, it's the opposite. For any other console, specifically talking about Nintendo consoles, my consoles never fail me. However, with the 3ds, I have to go through 2 3ds systems. One, the circle pad got peeled off due to rough playing. But I had it since 2013 and played with it through 2020, so it made sense. My second new 3DS XL A button started to wear with little playtime. For some reason, I have to press harder than usual to get it to work properly. This is after like I said, little playtime. I guess playing through Pokemon games and like 3 GBA virtual console games was "too much" for it?
My twin went through three 3ds, all with different issues. One random black screen on top, one B button refuses to work, and one due to accidental dropping.
Now I'm in the process of buying another 3ds. I never went through this many consoles for one console before.
