Actually can't do that anymore. Now. They removed that ability in August. Now you have to link ur account to ur switch account and add funds on your switch

If you connect your funds for your 3ds to your switch it also works that way through the website

if you have your eShop wallets connected between your switch and your 3ds and/or wii u, you can also add funds that way

Its not the only way. If your account is linked with your other nintendo devices like the switch. You can add funds there and they will be shared on your 3ds and wii u eshop
