Thank you kind Sir for posting this. I literally just learned to swim at 58 yrs old and am so happy to learn the benefits. I need all the help I can get. I just learned that my city has an aquatics center that I can use. I’m ready to lose weight this year.

Swimming is incredible for losing fat, im a very fat boy and my body looks like a dumpling but after 1 year my body actually looks normal. And all i do is just swimming. No dryland.

This definitely motivating.

I’m overweight(I am 240) and started swimming a few days ago. Started a new diet and also training.

The swimming is definitely my favorite thing to do for cardio.

Starting swimming 3 days a week. So far I have lost 3.4 pounds within that one week.

I need your help!! I am not fit anymore. I am a trucker, gained 30 lbs. I had a hysterectomy and my body went to shit. I have only Sun, mon, Tuesday to swim. Then I work go go California to Florida. I team with my hubby. Starting ketovore, and no carbs. Is it ok to do HIT 3 days in row. I was on swim team in high school, so I do know how to swim. I will probably die first day. lol I need advice, training and inspiration. Seriously I could pay you to keep me motivated. lol seriously. I bought some swimming fins to help. I got my new bathing suit, googles. My iPhone watch. I need this weight off so o can fit into my scuba gear by summer. Please help me ❤

Agreed. I haven’t weighed myself but I have dropped 2 dress sizes by front crawl leg kicks with the float and fins. I feel light on my feet when I walk, l don’t feel tired and I have started to swim two days in a row instead of every other day. The people in the pool who complain about not losing weight, I notice that they are mostly talking and not swimming. I want to drop another 2 dress sizes then I will be happy.

There was sh*t in the pool last time I went. Those kids were wearing full clothes at that. My skin broke out so I took up swimming in my tub
