Adam, at full power, could probably even tear off something from Lucifer's clothes. Even Luci himself says that he has let himself go, which means that this is not his full capacity

Let me just remind y’all that while Alastor did tease Adam a lot which many people think he’s holding back but he wasn’t. Alastor stated that he was gonna kill Adam which shows he wasn’t playing around. The only reason how Alastor even kept up with Adam was because Alastor kept his distances from Adam and used tentacles as long ranged attacks and his minions to distract Adam while Adam constantly uses close range attacks via his holy guitar axe which made it easier for Alastor to avoid adam’s surroundings and attack him at a distance while dodging. When Adam changed his battle tactics and used long ranged attacks (via the energy blast from his guitar), he had the better of Alastor and broke his staff and then injured Alastor with a single slash to the chest, forcing Alastor to retreat. Before you say “but Alastor was caught off guard!” Alastor wasn’t caught off guard because Adam literally did that energy blast INFRONT OF ALASTOR. To me, Adam pretty much speed blitzed Alastor because Adam’s energy blast emits light which can travel at light speed (he even did a light speed blast on sir pentitious’s ship). Since Alastor had never tagged with anything as fast as light, it makes sense how Alastor didn’t see it coming nor react to it. Speaking of dodging, Alastor was only able to dodge adam because he acknowledged the fact that angels are reckless fighters that underestimates demons a lot. Alastor was only able to get a good hit on Adam because he distracted Adam with tentacles to hit his chin with his shadowy figure and used his minions to distract Adam and slam him down via his tentacles. Even then, alastor’s attacks had no effect against Adam.

There are numerous cases where Adam was proven to be superior to Alastor besides this fight. For example, Adam shattered alastor’s forcefield barrier with a single punch and his forcefield should be more durable than Alastor himself. Adam injured and overpowered an angered/serious charlie Morningstar who is the daughter of Lucifer (the most powerful being in hell) and is confirmed by vivziepop to be stronger than Alastor in terms of physical capabilities (this may be the reason why Alastor never fought Adam upclose and instead kept his distance. Especially when Alastor had never fought anyone hand to hand and mostly used his powers to fight). Adam fought and kept up with a casual Lucifer Morningstar and even overthrew him in his snake form. He even took a beating from an enraged Lucifer and got up easily to deliver a speech. Again, Lucifer is the most powerful being in hell which makes him a thousand times more powerful than Alastor. Adam effortlessly vaporized sir pentitious’s entire ship with a single energy blast from his finger in which Alastor had never done before. Alastor needed time to blow up sir pentitious’s ship with his tentacles which shows how powerful Adam is compared to Alastor.


Adam seems to be the one holding back against Alastor. He can effortlessly vaporize a ship that Alastor had never done, shatter alastor’s forcefield, overpower Charlie Morningstar, tank an angry demon king’s beating, and was simply stated that he and the other angels underestimate demons a lot to the point where they wear no armors or wield shields nor even train their combat skills. Yes, Adam was irritated by Alastor but Adam still underestimates Alastor regardless. Not to mention, Adam failing to hit alastor with close range attacks and stomped alastor with long ranged attacks while alastor only used long ranged attacks simply implies that Adam was messing around with alastor until he had enough and blasted alastor’s staff in half.

Edit: even if we assume Alastor wasn’t at his full power due to a so call “contract, ” we can’t really indicate a gap between alastor with the contract or without the contract. We don’t know how powerful he’d be without that contract and we can’t be certain if he’d beat Adam without it. In fact, even without the contract, alastor would’ve still lost to Adam either way. Angels are said to hold domain over demons and their holy weapons are considered dangerous to demons. Not to mention, Adam overpowered Charlie who’s superior to alastor as confirmed by vivziepop. Especially when she’s the daughter of a fallen angel who’s the most powerful being in hell. Speaking of fallen angel, Adam simply got back up after a beating from a bloodlusted Lucifer. This shows alastor has no way to put Adam down for good and shows that he’d be overpowered by him either way. Adam effortlessly one shotted alastor with a contract and even one shotted his barrier and since we can’t indicate a gap between alastor with or without a contract, it either doesn’t change anything about the outcome or alastor assumably puts up a better fight against Adam. He’d still lose to him though. And if we’re going by that logic, then let’s bring out a serious adam who no longer underestimates demons and uses shields and armors.

For sure Adam had won fairly against Al but I think full power Al would be way stronger since in the ending song he said that he is limited by the contract he had made meaning he couldn’t use his full power against him. Also Al will may even reach a level close to Sara since he has made a deal with Charlie and he may abuse it to force someone like Lilith or Lucifer to give their soul to save her because there is a backdoor to the deal which is Charlie killing herself (the contract noted that Charlie would have to do favors to Al without hurting anyone but it was never noted if that included her)
