Yeah I feel like when he goes full demon mode his voice should get more demonic as well this was exactly what was needed

Also I love how they perfectly have alastor still stick out even in a red background. My other artist friends were warning me not to draw a background with the same colors as my character saying it would draw attention away from my character. Hazbin hotel has shown it can indeed be done and shows why these art "rules" are just "guidelines ".

the pitch up towards the end felt like it went a bit too far to me, but the lead up before then, with the static echo being low and growly behind the voice, was very epic, kind of managed to give the same effect as a choir while still sounding eldritch and warped, which is a hard balance to strike

His voice not changing shows an underline horror of what he actually is. When he goes more demonic he doesn’t change, even as his most human looking he can’t be more demonic

Not only did his voice become dual toned, it was in the same key as the song. Clever as HELL.

I like this version better because it puts more emphasis on Alastors’ power as an overlord. It makes you feel like he’s “the radio demon” and not just some guy who’s a lot more powerful than the average sinner or resident of hell.

Wow. Unlike Bee and Charlie transforming, Alastor's oh so subtle, and to me that makes it terrifying

this voice change is really fitting for Alastor, the line: "Oh this will be fun." Is like Vox is doomed, as if Alastor is warning him not to cross paths. Extremely great and im obsessed with this.

funny thing is, i thought this is what it sounded like originally because my headphones were screwed up in the perfect way to where a distortion started whenever Alastor set his cane down effectively doing this only the changed voice was like 1/4 of a second behind his normal voice almost like an echo. Then I accidently fixed my headphones and thought, "huh what happened to the cool distortion thing" when i heard the song later that day.
