What games are you looking to play? What resolution and refresh rate (1080p, 1440p, 4k & 144hz or 240hz)?

When the GPU scalp-pocalypse was going on, I used to buy the prebuilds you recommended. I would put in a better motherboard, CPU cooler and PSU. Even with the upgrades, the prebuilds were still cheaper then the GPUs. Love this series!

One point I would like to make is. If you plan on buying a system with a RTX 3060 just know there is a 12gb vram model and a 8gb vram model. The 8gb model is also slower than the 12gb model. So check to see what model is being sold in the system. As Jason says the 3060 8gb should really be called a 3050ti.

I have used your prebuilt recommendations for my entire family (4 PCs) and you have never steered me wrong. I've saved a fortune too. Thank you!!

People need to be aware that SI-built machines don't always come perfect. Even the very high-end stuff. They may need some attention inside the case. Things like loose connectors or missing screws are not uncommon. You would be amazed by some of the mistakes I have seen from some of the best SI builders.
The BIOS may need attention for various reasons.
Due to shipping issues, parts might need to be installed. There might be packing materials that need to be removed.
The PC can also suffer damage during shipping. Be mindful of the customer service record.
Just a heads up.
---Just my two cents.

You know what would be an excellent follow up video to this one? Taking every recommendation and comparing it by price prebuilt vs built it yourself. Seeing if it is worth building yourself for the small savings.

I love seeing prebuilds and calculating how much it would cost to build that system myself. The profit margins on some are crazy! Like over 500$ kind of crazy. I can see why people purchase prebuilts but i could never buy one myself

I always worry about motherboard quality in pre-builts; a lot of pre-builts are sold without specifying what type of motherboard you're going to get, and I always like to know if any system I purchase will be upgradeable in the future. It's nice to see that come of these recommendations show the type of motherboard included!

EcoElite Tech comes highly recommended by me. The PC I purchased boasts impeccable build quality with superb cable management. It offers remarkable performance for its cost, and the fact that they plant a tree for every PC sold is an excellent added benefit in my view.

I love my PreBuilt HP Omen 45L. It was a refurbished one but it was perfect with 1 Year HP Warranty. It came with a 12900K and 3080Ti 32GB, AIO, 1TB M.2 for under 1500, it runs cool and good software to keep the updates in check as well as tuning with Omen HP. Jason I love you but the Omen line uses off the self stuff other than the Motherboard. Its using Coolermaster Fans, Coolermaster PSU, Hyper X Memory and Western Digital M.2. The only down side is the Motherboard thats locked to 12th Gen Intel, I plan on swapping that down the road when I want to upgrade, pet kitty for me!

Thank you for the video's. My first build from 2020 (just as supply's went to shit) motherboard and cpu died. Watching your videos helped me build a new pc from microcenter.
Ryzen 7 7700X
Msi pro b650-p wifi
G.Skill flare 32 kit 6000 c36
(all above microcenter bundle for $400)
PSU Thermaltake gf3 859w atx3
Deep Cool ak620 zero dark cpu cooler
Asus tuf oc 7900xt open box
Monteck air 903 max case
storage scavenged from old pc
right around $1600 for everything

I had planned on Ryzen 7600x but couldn't pass up the bundle

Only halfway through the video and had to take a moment to thank you for this. Honestly trying to figure out what you need out of a gaming PC is really intimidating and most of the media treats it as an insiders only situation. Even a lot of the intro videos still expect you to have a certain base knowledge of how all the parts work or why they are important. I really appreciate that you go out of your way to not only explain your recommendations but also what the part does/how the different stats effect game play with realistic examples of different tiers.

FYI - there is also a 10% off coupon at HP right now so the spec'd Omen 40L is discounted to ~$1664

I purchased my prebuilt computer from Build Pro PC, and I must say it's an exquisite machine. The performance it delivers far exceeds what I expected for the price. The customer service is exceptional; I wholeheartedly recommend them.

The only thing I can never get behind with prebuilts is the fact that if you want a half decent pc for your price you can almost guarantee it won't look good or will cheap out on a few parts and thats the sacrifice. Of course it makes sense that the companies have to make money somewhere but honestly thats what drove me to build my own pc, I couldn't bare to waste money when I totalled up a prebuilts parts list to find it was 3 or $400 under the price I was paying!

I had an Ibuypower machine several years ago, i never felt I wasted my money. Had it for about 3 years and ended up selling it off in marketplace.
