An excellent, well done comparison, S550 5.0 vs 650 Mustang Mach 1 video. The timing of this video is spot on for me. I recently retired as a law enforcement officer 🇨🇦. I had thought long and hard about buying a 2023 Mach 1 or a 2024 Dark Horse Premium, both were manual. This will be my last new car purchase. I drove both cars for an entire day, thanks to a close friend that owns a Ford dealership franchise. The Mach 1 was the personal car of the dealership owner. Ultimately I bought a new Mach 1; the last new 2023 Mach in Canada from alternate dealership. The Mach 1 is the automatic. Eruption Green with the optional handling, package, 600a, & Red Brembos in red, along with voice activated navigation. The price difference between the two cars was $5k, with the DH being the slightly more expensive car. To my knowledge the Mach 1 was the last new 2023 for sale in the country. In Canada, such cars are winter stored. So, the driving season is short. Do I love my Mach 1? No question. Bury me in it. And I’ll drive it across the Universe. Yeah, it is special, at least to me. I also own ( ordered new ), a 2013 Boss 302 ( GHIG ), with 6, 000 miles on the clock. No mods. A blast to drive. From a different era, both cars. Drive safe. Cheers

Just recommending, but the Mach 1 is really a comparison for an actual Performance Pack S650. This is not a performance pack s650, its just a regular s650. Those wheels are just an option if you get a premium. This is just a base premium, with no active exhaust.

With my Kooks headers and tune I'll take my 2022 Mach 1 all day every day. GT is really nice too. My 2017 V6 with turbo will gap either the 650 or 550 though and was only $10, 000 so in comparison I like the 2017 V6 turbo charged.

My 2019 GT premium was totaled and I had the opportunity to buy what I wanted. I drove the 25 S650 DH and also the 23 Mach1 Handling package. I just don't have any passion for the S650 design. It has so much Camaroesque design cues inside and out. After Driving the Mach1 Handling package, it was an easy choice. I found a 23 Mach1 Handling package with 5088 miles for 52k, still has warranty. I chose it over the DH.

There doesn't seem to be enough changes with the S650 for me to want one over an S550 and the things they did change I don't really like. If I had to choose between the 650 and 550 I'd take a Terminator Cobra lol

The passenger side lower grille on the s650 is blocked off because the PCM (computer) is behind there. Not because it’s not a perf. Pack👍🏼

Your statement about the 650 performance pack having an opening on the passenger side for an oil cooler is incorrect. It does not open up on the performance pack s650 . The only s650 with coolers on two sides is the DarkHorse. Because it’s just a rebadged mach 1.
