one time i was sitting next to a crying baby and the mother was doing nothing to calm it down and I NEEDED the sleep, eventually, I got so tired of they crying, I took out my phone and showed the baby pictures of clouds I had taken on an earlier flight. How come I was a better parent in that moment than the actual mother?

How about sitting next to a screaming/crying child for 2 hours and the mother doing nothing to comfort her child? I had to live through that and it wasn't fun.

The worst thing for me is how my ears hurt when I'm on a plane. It's literally one of the most painful things for me

When I was ten I was flying from South Africa to Germany and I had a toy lion with me. To my left there was a couple in their 30's with a 2 year old.When I fell asleep he tried to take my lion off me.I managed to get it back and the mother was so apologetic.I still have that same lion today and I am 13.

Cramped spaces, the food, crying babies, people snoring loud, plane sickness, and literally mostly everything is annoying on planes especially if you are going on a long flight

so I have a long story about flying, I’m gonna make it shorter


Many years ago, I was flying home from Japan with my older brother, my dad, and my mum. We were flying Jetstar.
We had paid extra money for a tv screen, extra leg room and meals.
We were at the very front of the economy part of the plane, right behind business. That’s where people put their babies, on the little bed connected to the wall in between business class and economy class.
A woman put her baby on the bed. The baby could sit up, meaning that it wasn’t allowed to be put there. We didn’t tell anyone, and just stayed there.
The woman went to the back of the plane after placing her baby there, then, fell asleep.
The plane started experiencing turbulence, so a flight attendant told us to pick ‘our’ baby up.
We informed her that it is not in fact our baby, and that the woman was near the back of the plane.
After finding the mother, the flight attendant asked us to pack up our things and swap seats with her and everyone in her row. We tried to decline, as we had paid a lot of money to sit there. The flight attendant refused our pleas to stay in our seats.
We got up and swapped seats.
When I went to the bathroom, the woman was watching our flight entertainment and was eating our meals.
We got an apology from the airlines.. nothing else.

This is why Qantas is my favourite airlines.

Anyone had a diarrhea during a flight and had to go to the lavatory several times ?
I think it's the most embarrassing situation you can get when you travel by a plane especially if your seat was a window

Me and my brother and my mom had to sit right next to the engine and it was so loud, we couldn't even hear each other even when we yelled at the top of our lungs, couldn't sleep either.

there was once i was going home from tokyo to singapore then the turbulence was so horrible because a typhoon was approaching tokyo and we WERE GOING IN THE DIRECTION OF THE TYPHOON and it was just NON STOP turbulence for 2 hours. there was lightning too which made it even scarier
