Thanks for tuning in to this remaster of the previous video about flying cars!

Everybody always imagines flying cars, but nobody ever thinks of falling cars.

I will never get tired of Adam improving anything until it becomes a train

As a pilot I love telling people why flying cars will never be a thing. Everyone outside the aviation industry seems to think my job is just Driving But Up

Flying cars would make 9/11 look like an average Tuesday

I remember looking forward to flying cars as a kid, before realising we already have flying cars!
They're called "Helicopters".

I absolutely adore whenever you're explaining how a bonkers sci-fi concept would need to be changed in order to actually work only for it to slowly become trains

Nature: All creatures shall evolve to crab!
Adam: All transport shall evolve to train!

I think Cyberpunk 2077 depicts flying cars (AVs) very realistically, as basically just the new alternative to the helicopter, only used by large organizations (like police or ambulance) or the extremely wealthy.

I work in aviation and the number one thing people need to understand is that these aren't "flying cars", they are aircraft that can drive on a road. The difference in the distinction is huge.

Just imagine everyone replaced their car with a helicopter and you'll understand how badly this goes very quickly

When you talked about the mental health impact, I think the worst part would be the knowledge that a bunch of randos who could be drunk or otherwise impaired could drop out of the sky at any minute. A sky freeway sounds like a danger to humanity in many ways

Imagine drunk driving already a giant issue, looking at the phone texting while driving, or people doing reckless driving despite doing tests to get a driver's license. Drunk, texting and reckless driving/flying in a flying car would be a disaster.

The noise point is too often overlooked. I lived next to a highway for a while because my city only allows high density housing next to major roads (which maximizes the number of people who get the negative effects of living next to highways and concentrates those effects on those with low incomes). The noise drove me insane after a few months. I was working from home too so it was just constant. So happy to be gone from there.

Regarding the noise pollution: There is a YouTuber called Dank Pods who recently had to move out of his workshop because he unknowingly moved close to a learning airport. All day every day, there were little training aircraft circling above his shop and it drove him insane. This is not a made up problem, people actually have it. It's like having a neighbor who constantly, even at night, is mowing his lawn.

I love how the video went from "flying cars are bad idea" to "trains are superior", classic Adam.

As a kid, one of my greatest fears for the future was that some flying car would break down mid-sky and come crashing down on our house. I preferred teleportation as the perfect mode of transportation, but then I grew up and realised that's not viable either

Imagine burning the fuel required to fly a small plane but the plane is only carrying one person - the driver. Insane.

Just imagine drunk flying car drivers crashing into everything you can't be safe in buildings not even fields because their gonna be a lot of emergency landings

As said by LazerPig, "Imagine NYC with flying cars. Every Friday would be like 9/11 times a hundred". I don't need a flying car. I'm the only leader that regularly uses a train to get to summits or to inspect facilities, something passed down from my father. And I want to keep it that way. Props to the engineers who figured out how to build a flying car though. They're a profoundly bad idea but sometimes you have to make something stupid just so you can stop thinking about it and move on.
