Pat Murphy has been absolutely fantastic as the Brewers manager... I wouldn't trade him for any other manager in baseball... I'll take him over Craig Counsell and that is saying something because I really liked Graig... Pat has brought a toughness the Brewers have lacked in other years... With all the injuries to key pitchers I don't know how the Brewers have done so well... Chris Hook is one fine pitching coach too !!!

As disappointed as I was when Counsell left this season has been pretty great. There’s a ton of ball left to play but I sure like this club so far and Murphy has an old school feel that I can’t exactly explain but he’s done an outstanding job so far

Talk about a stressful 9th inning!! A wins a win, but sheesh their pitching sure makes it look difficult out there.

I would say this was a cobbled together game. One inning with all the runs and then just holding on hoping the bullpen will come through. It's a wind, we'll take it, but not a strong win. Crew now up 7 games on the Pirates. A three way tie for 3rd place. This is the most interesting division in baseball.

Good lord! Who was at first base for the Brewers in the 9th? Could have cost them the game. Should have got the first grounder and where was he going on the second grounder that Tourang got?
