Beautiful game! Close to a quality start from Kikuchi, bullpen going strong, and most importantly, hits with RISP! After the 2 run homer given up in the first, super happy the bats came alive and won it for Kikuchi.

Kikuchi's 100th lifetime win and 500th strikeout came today too, very happy for him. Always want to root for that guy. Now the question is, where will the story go with Manoah on the mound tomorrow? Can only hope something gets better one way or the other.

Honestly I'm not sure if Kikuchi pitched particularly well this game. The results were fine but his command is really iffy. Some of those pitches should have been demolished.
