Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I really needed this right now. I've been so unmotivated and listless and sad and anxious lately. I spend almost all of my free time laying in bed crying my eyes out. I know I need to take better care, but it seems a lot easier said than done. I'm becoming so bitter and resentful of people who are happier than me because I feel so trapped like there's nothing I can do to make anything better for myself. It's like I've totally given up and given in. Your videos are always a spot of brightness for me, but this one in particular is what I really needed right when I needed it, so thank you rep -- I love you, man :) โ™ก

I absolutely did not expect your first suggestion to be eating enough food, and as someone who has recovered from an eating disorder, I wish more people would highlight this. Thank you. It should be common sense, but sometimes people need to hear it; I did before I went into recovery. This could save just one person, and that's one of the most amazing things content creators/influencers like you can do. Keep doing you, man. You're making great stuff.

All good reminders. I take daily meds (which is not for everyone) but it gets me through for now as I heal and continue to process trauma lodged in my body. When very anxious, I regulate my brain stem using a metronome or very rhythmic music, walking at a consistent pace, or performing repetitive tasks. Also, coffee! And pet snuggles! I agree with nutrition, water, and meditation. Restorative yoga is also nice because itโ€™s not advanced or strenuous but is centering and relaxing.

For me creating a routine makes my day great. Even when things get derailed it helps. I like planning what I do. I have a huge problem with going shopping by myself so Iโ€™m going to make myself go out once a week to get used to it. Make it part of my routine.

I believe that a lot of this depends on age and gender. As I approach 60 now, I find that less carbs and less calories are helpful for me. Healthy fats and proteins are good - along with plenty of micro-greens. And cutting down to 2 meals a day with apples on an empty stomach as the first meal. Over the past 20 years, listening to my body I have made a number of changes in what and how much I eat in order to adjust to a changing metabolism. There are people in my family who have lived to be over 100. I want to be the next, and I also want stay healthy, mentally sharp and aware as I continue to live into an older age. I believe that envisioning and believing in such a future for myself helps. So far so good... :-)
