The blue zones books cover the Adventist population. I like the blue zones focus on the whole lifestyle including pro social behaviour, sense of meaning and connection as well as the focus on diet and exercise.

One of the comments that jumped out to me from the Blue Zones was from a Adventist surgeon who could tell whether a patient was a vegetarian or meat eater by the condition of their veins.

It's not the meat that's the problem. Grass fed meat is needed my the body. Show the links to the details of the studies. Invested interest I'll say. No talk about the effect of too much carbs on your insulin levels.

I would like to read the original research paper myself. Any change away from the SAD diet improves health. But the long range effect of vegan is bad...better to be lacto-vegetarian.
