I would love a tutorial on airing out specifically. Like where to start, how yo get higher. What the body position should feel like leaving and landing. First time i really went to air above coping i cased my back tire so hard and went over the bars to flat. Kind of been scared to try that one since but really want yo start wending that again.

Great video guys! Still yet to unlock the air out properly, for me it is the toughest thing to commit to! Would be keen to see an in depth dive into your take on getting the confidence to send both wheels over the coping!

definitely coming back to this video once i get that bmx bike i keep talking about. i was going to start with manuals and bunny hops.

would love some general recommendations on what to look for as an adult picking up a 20" bike -- i've found sizing information based on rider height and top tube length but mostly i don't want to end up with a kids bike that will break under the weight of an adult landing a jump on it. really hard to tell looking through facebook marketplace listings.

I feel so seen with this video! As someone who has a new BMX and has no clue where to start! So far I’ve been mostly working on manuals around the neighborhood. Been also working getting better at my bunny hops but I’ve been getting some wrist pain when I try too many of them in one session. Did any of y’all deal with that early on? I realize that may be a silly question since I know Mike and Matt started riding when you were kids and weren’t just starting on a frail 33 year old body 😂

I would like to know what ramp builds you suggest for bmx beginners.

Would be cool to take a total Newby..never rode bmx...teach step by step to see how hard it actually is to bunnyhop, manual, ramp ride etc. A series would be cool.

I’ve been a mountain biker for like 20 years and have picked up a bmx to learn some new skills, but I’m having the hardest time dealing with the absolute lack of any squish (between the tire pressure and lack of suspension), in terms of things like bunny hops and energy transfer in general. Everything feels so harsh lol. Any tips? Maybe I’m just old 😂😮
