Last time I tried to stop with putting my foot on the front tire I flipped I’m never doing that again

Snow shoe. One foot on pedal, other calf muscle against pedal with foot on ground, using it to lift back wheel so you are sliding on back foot and front wheel rides along on ground.

That only works with foot traps on or if it’s kind of slow and you don’t mind scuffing up your skin pads

When I put my foot in the back tire, the seat gets in the way and it hurts my foot. My foot doesn’t touch the frame either which means I will not be able to skid while doing that. Any suggestions?
