I’ve recently just started riding bmx and have just learnt bar spins, full props to u guys who shred on bmx as u make it look easy but is quite challenging but it’s such a good feeling when u land a new trick

Really wish someone from YouTube (you, spencer, Scotty... someone) would find a complete rookie/novice and show them how to perform the basics. ( bunny hop, fakie, 180, bar spins, manuel etc)
That way we can literally see the evolution of someone that has not clue learn. It’s great to watch Matt or someone do it but if we literally saw a ground up how to I think it would and really anhialate the views from everyone not just normal followers such as myself

This is so awesome, especially for just starting out like us. It is such a relief to find a bmx channel clean enough to watch with my 9yr old. Well done, we'll be back for more!

As a beginner I found this video to be pretty informative. It's a good starting point in learning how to do tricks. Like how he laid the tricks out in a way that's easy to understand, and that he advocates that everyone be safe. It's easy to get into the mindset of just wanting to attempt to go big which, as a beginner, I feel like would only end in a bad way.

That's one of the nicest jetfuel frames I've ever seen.

This was a good video. As someone who has not ridden in 18 years, I am looking forward to trying bmx again. At the age of 30, it is like I am starting the basics all over. Just watching as many how to videos as I can, but this one was really simple and broken down well. I have been riding around my house because I don’t want to look foolish at a skatepark until I have some basics down though.

I'm almost 50 and got my first BMX bike TONIGHT! In fact, I got 2! Can't wait to get down the skate park and try a few of these 🥳😫 Thanks so much for the video mate 👍

Mike Fede. You're my hero. I have watched you on tons of Scotty Cranmer videos. I am 38 years old and going to try to get back in to BMX so its awesome to see videos like this.

Thanks for this video! I’m getting back into bmx after 10 or so years and want to refresh my brain, last time I rode a bike was a couple years ago so I’m hoping muscle memory will help lol

Oh shitttt I LIKE Matt's frame!! It's MOS DEF a hott look!!

I ride a full FIT setup, I LOVE fits, have been riding Fit for years, I'm NOT sponsored by them or anything, so it's not like I'm stuck strictly to one brand/style!

Really informative, and I didn’t even know I could do half the tricks in this vid!

His "proper" hop was weird like instead of leaning back he just sucks the bars up into his gut
Seems like he is hanging over the bars awkwardly.

It took me 10 years to learn time machine cause I had no one to teach me but you never give up and like you said don't go outside your comfort zone

I have been riding BMX for quite a while and I could do 360, tire grab, grind up-and-down ledges in the rails, and could hop on tables... But it took me 3 YEARS before I could get/understand fakies but after I learned it has completely changed my lvl of riding so I %100 am glad I didn't give up on them. Learn them as soon as you can it will make everything easier trust me it hard to learn 360s before 180s
