How To UNPAIR Your APPLE WATCH Before Selling It!

When it comes to the Apple Watch it isn't as easy to unpair and full break its connection from your iPhone as you may think most people would go into the same settings area in the watch app as they would on the phone, but sadly this will just reset the watch, but could leave it tied to your iCloud account meaning when a new owner goes to pair it to their iPhone it will fail until they have your password.

So old series 6 to a 7 (had every generation) last time I upgraded from the 5 to the 6 I lost all my rings and workout tracking (over a years worth) so how do I make sure the same doesn’t happen again, I will add that in the health app it showed 2 Apple watches one said ‘No longer paired’ and from there it was a haze as when I removed the one that was no longer paired that was when I lost all my achievements and awards..any ideas before I pair my series 7 ?

If I remove cellular plan am I removing that functionality for the person who’s buying my old watch? I’m buying a new watch and want to keep my cellular plan but also want my old watch to have that for the new owner. Doesn’t make sense why you’d keep or remove.
