This development comes amid significant backlash from government employees to the New Pension Scheme (NPS), which the Opposition has tapped into for political gains. Opposition-ruled states like Himachal Pradesh (in 2023), Rajasthan (in 2022), Chhattisgarh (in 2022), and Punjab (in 2022) have reverted to the Old Pensions Scheme (OPS).

BJP has clearly reversed its priorities in the wake of the Rahul assault. It is in panic mode.
The Unified Pension Scheme only shows that Financial prudence will hence take back seat. Populism is the mantra. Kursi Bachao. Bhad mein jaye deficit control. Soon the salaries and pensions of babus will leave nothing for defence or development.

All schemes are only for government employees and not for poor and public sector employees. Why? Where is equality? Are government employees getting poor salaries per month? Poor people and uneducated peoples' social security is a question mark in India? And women safety is also a question mark?

Pensions on retirement (voluntarily) from minimum service of 10 years will surely curved away the problem of unemployment in the country....
Yes with pensions starting from 10k at minimum 10 years of service will favour some govt. employers to leave their jobs after 10-20 years of service with the enough pensions to support their daily life and this could give a chance to unemployed youths to get job easier, the more employers get retired, the more vacancies you get to see...

OPS mein Basic+DA kaa 50% last salary kaa, UPS mein only Basic of last 12 month's salary average hain. abhi bhi kafi difference hain OPS & UPS mein.

What about contributions made by the employees in NPS. Will it be returned to the employees or adjusted with UPS.

LAST, LEAST, LOWEST

Grave injustice and deliberate denial of OPS NPS and now UPS to the Short Service Commissioned Officers of the Army Navy and Airforce.

Agniveers are better off than Short service commissioned officers of the Armed Forces, who serve for 10-14 years plus 1 year of training.Some people were not happy with that. I apologise for being inaccurate and correct myself now:

- Agniveers are far, far better off. They get benefits of Seva Nidhi Scheme.
- Jawans are far better off. They get pension under OPS.
- Sweepers and jamadars in govt institutions are better off. They get NPS/UPS.
- Clerks and peons in govt institutions are better off. They get NPS/UPS.
- Jawans getting commission as officers through any entry are thousand times better off. They get OPS at total 12 years of service.
- Short Service Officers of Coast Guard are better off. They get NPS/UPS.
- Officials in PSUs and Autonomous Bodies are better off. They get NPS/UPS.
- CAPF / Paramilitary Forces personnel are better off. They get OPS/NPS/UPS.
- Jawans leaving service to join PSUs are better off. They get pro rata pension.

Total govt servants = 2 crore
SSCOs (including MNS) = 15k
2 crore divided by 15k = 1333

Short service commissioned officers are"one in a thousand"


The primary purpose for which any Indian joins the triservices, is a sense of pride and dignity. With the UPS announced yesterday, that has been taken away from Short service commissioned officers completely. You may not be aware, but resentment against the blatant injustice against the SSCO community, is at its peak now, since SSCOs have been denied benefits of OPS, Pro-Rata Pension and CPF since inception the inception of SSC in 1962, denied NPS and CPF since 2004, and now denied UPS as well.

Ask not what the nation can do for you. Bullets and bombshells won't touch you because you're an SSCO.

The private sector people are contributing high to countries GDP as well as to tax collection. But they do not get anything from the govt. I think private sector people should stop voting for any political party.

As it is contributory 10% from employees. On demise after retirement, lumpsome to be given to employees who are striving and working for nation as like NPS

यहां 40 वर्ष नौकरी ढूंढने में लग जाती हैं
तो लोग 25 वर्ष नौकरी कैसे कर पायेगे।
जबकि 62 वर्ष में कर्मचारी रिटायर्मेंट हो जाते है।

अधिकांश कर्मचारी ना 25 वर्ष नौकरी कर पाएंगे ना हीं उन्हें सैलरी की आधी राशि पेंशन के रूप में मिल पाएगी।

it is a really shameful and cruel decision that in the name of the UPS, the government will swallow the entire life saving of the huge whole corpus i.e. 10% contribution and return. Every time Government servants become a scapegoat.

*पेन्शन का मतलब केवल 50 % + DA इतना ही नहीं हैं..*

पेन्शन में ( OPS ) में 👇

१)वेतन आयोग भी हैं, हर 10 साल में पेन्शन बेसिक का रिविजन भी हैं। जिससे पेन्शन का बेसिक लगभग 2 गुणा होता हैं। 20 साल भी जी लिए तो पेन्शन का बेसिक 4 गुणा..

२)OPS में 40 % की पेन्शन की बिक्री भी हैं।

३)OPS में उम्र के 80 साल बाद 20% पेन्शन वृद्धी हैं। 85 बाद 30%, 90 बाद 40 %, 95 बाद 50% और
100 साल आयु बाद 100 % वृद्धी हैं।

४) OPS में मेडिकल सुविधा भी हैं।

५) OPS में VRS भी हैं।

६)OPS में डीसेबिलिटी पेन्शन के अलावा विशेष अस्थायी पेन्शन भी हैं, जो कुछ समय मिलने के बाद नोकरी जॉईन करने का प्रावधान भी हैं।

७) OPS में GPF की सेविंग भी हैं, जिसे निकालने के लिए NPS जैसे बंधन नहीं हैं और न ही GPF कटवाने के लिए 10% की अनिवार्यता..

८) OPS में आपकी GPF कटोती वापस करने की ग्यारंटी हैं।

और भी बहुत कुछ हैं OPS में..

इसलीए जागरूक बने, जानकार बने..

और जिस आंध्रप्रदेश पेन्शन मॉडेल (GPS) का लॉलीपॉप केंद्र सरकार देना चाहती हैं वो आंध्र का पेन्शन मॉडेल आंध्र के कर्मचारी खुद नकार चुके हैं और GPS लादने वाले पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जगनमोहन रेड्डी को हाल ही में विधानसभा चुनाव में घर बिठा चुके हैं और OPS का आश्वासन देने वाले TDP और जनसेना को सत्ता में ला चुके हैं।

इसलीए सरकार और बिकाऊ समाचार के बहकावे में ना आए।
OPS से कम कुछ भी मंजूर नहीं..

10% तो कर्मचारी से ले रहे हैं पेंशन तो कर्मचारी के फंड से ही देंगे सरकार का क्या योगदान है बेवकूफ बना रहे हैं ओल्ड पेंशन स्कीम में कोई कटौती नहीं होती थी यह एनपीएस का ही परिवर्तित रूप है
