On Day 1 you will mix flour and water.

Your explanation of making a starter is so perfect! I've just started making sourdough this year and came across your video to see how you do yours and mine is very similar as far as the combination of flour(except I used whole wheat with a combination of bread flour) .
Your voice is very nice to listen to as well 😌

Thank you Bincy!! One question,
Can you explain what is the process after we started using the starter for making breads. Like how often we need to feed, how to store and use the starter as the starter becomes more active and over flowing.

Hi, thanks for the detailed video. You haven't mentioned discard here. Do you discard the remaining portion when you start feeding in a 1:1:1 ratio?

Dear Binci, I am on the 8th day, my dough has bubbles but it does not rise. I use only wholemeal flour, could that be the reason?
