At last I can talk about the reference to the Thing (1982) in this level with it being when the Arbiter shows up at the end of the level with a flamethrower which is basic the same thing that the character Charles dose near the end of the film, but you know the best part both were played by Keith David.

Also another fact is that the entire Cortana mission is just the other half of the Floodgate mission with the infected Covenant cruiser which is why the doors and the entire layout of Cortana don’t look like the ones from Halo 2’s High Charity

Imagining the arbiter from the animated movie is terrifying. Ge was before Master Chief and took on an army of Covenant on his own and won. Duel wielding energy swords and slaying everyone. He was an absolute monster to imagine facing.

Are dead Arbiters canonically placed in stasis or something? Unless it's since been retconned, the most recent previous Arbiter before Thel Vadam was Ripa Moramee, and he got atomized when the sun inside the shield world in HW1 went supernova from the SoF's slipspace drive detonating.

That was more than 22 years prior to the events of H3, so unless the Mausoleum of the Arbiter's coffins are stasis pods, the previous Arbiters would be nothing but bones and dust at that point.

The second to last mission was supposed to also be the original flood ship mission but was scraped due to loss of time. High Charity would’ve been as explained in the video.

This would've been freaking crazy. Imagine fighting a few of these in the Mausoleum then finishing the level being chased back to the Pelican with Arbiter already in pitched battle with a few so that you both have to defeat them to finish the level.

Keep in mind as much honour as thel vadam had during his arbiter trial, he most likely would see it as, finishing putting the arbiters misery out from the prophets, and now, the floods grasp.

Would’ve loved to see a previous arbiter get infected but I’d think a lot of them would’ve been decomposed too far for the flood to be able to infect them and they are probably the most secure place in the whole thing
