I've spent a while thinking about why you made so many keywords for actions that seem pretty simple. ("Input username ${username}" vs "input text id:Email ${username}", "click logout link" vs "click link Logout")
Is it because it reduces how often you have to look up id's, and reduces the chance of typos later? For instance, if you use "Input username", you don't have to remember that the id of the textbox is "Email" (as opposed to "email" or "username", etc), and Pycharm will help you type "Input username" correctly since you import the resource file (20:00). If you just used "input text id:Email", Pycharm doesn't know anything about the web page, so it wouldn't suggest "id:Email".

This makes a lot of sense with the "click login button", since that one requires a pretty long xpath, very possible to mistype, and a bit annoying to go looking for every time you need it.

I have one question related with this video, if someone could help me i'll be very pleased.


In this example we build a "Invalid login" keywords and applied it as a Test Template for all the test cases... right?
But, how could we include also another Keyword like for exaple "valid login"? it's possible? could we add another template just for this different keyword? how could we assign a different template for each testCAse?
