Today I will discuss 5 of my Top REITs for 2022. REITs or Real Estate Investment Trusts are one of my favorite types of Dividend Stocks to invest in.

These REITs provide an investor a great opportunity to obtain Real Estate exposure in companies with proven business models and strong operating cash flows.

REITs have been one of the top performing asset classes over the past few decades, something that is often not known to new investors.

REITs are shielded from Corporate Income Taxes if they meet the IRS requirements to obtain REIT status, and one of those requirements include paying out 90% of their taxable income to shareholders in the form of dividends. This is why you often see REITs have higher dividend yields.

VICI, STAG, DLR, IIPR, ADC, O, MPW, and PSA are all on my radar

A REIT that needs to be considered is IIPR, similar to VICI they purchase properties from operators of Marijuana producers giving them much needed capitol for expansion then they lease back the property to said operator. Great business model and they have regularly raised their dividend over the last few years.

Great video, REITs are certainly a solid investment during these market conditions.. Most recently, I have been doubling down on STAG.. Happy to have seen it fall from $48 a share to near $40.. Nice discount for a REIT that as a ton of growth to come..

Hey Mark, great video. Other than PSA, your REIT choices look solid! PSA is just way overpriced and I for one would wait for a much bigger pullback. It is trading at a P/AFFO of around 30, give it time and it may trade at its normal ratio of 23.5 If it does drop it could indicate an 11% loss this year.
