Do not judge. Judging others comes far too easy for most, but in Matthew 7, what does Jesus mean when he says Judge not least ye be judged? Are we to judge not, or Judge righteously? What’s the difference? What does the Bible say about judging people? In this video Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch explains what the Bible says about Judging others to answer the questions, is judging a sin, and what does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?

1 Corinthians 2:15, 6:2-3 Its just the opposite for believers. Saints will judge angels as well as the world. Non believers use the verse of " Do not judge others" to protect their sins and cover up their faults.

Amen! People use this as a crutch and Satan knew this would happen!

We've all done it in error. Lean heavily on Christ in that moment and pray you fall not into this temptation. It's not easy alone but very easy for Christ to carry you through.

3:10 more people need to hear this. Almost everyone who says don’t judge does judge and is a hypocrite. Telling people not to judge is like telling people not to sleep. Compliments are judging. Opinions are judging. Reviewing stuff is judgement. If you think murder is wrong you’re judging. And nothings wrong with that.

As someone who is not part of the faith, but who's whole family is, the part that always gets me is not the judgement itself, but how one goes about it. To say someone's wrong is one thing. To call them an idiot for being wrong is another.
Forgive me for not knowing the part of the Bible, but it it goes something along the lines of "before you remove the sliver from someone else's eye, remove the plank from your own". I wish more of the world as whole could live by that

We should judge the actions. We should not judge the person. Because person can be changed and his actions can also.

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭5:12‭-‬13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

[12] For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? [13] But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”
It is clear we are to judge those inside the church, but God will judge those outside the church.

Judging is when someone who is acting or doing something wrong and the person telling the wrong doer about it, is ACTING, DOING OR BEING THE SAME THING.

I swear people be picking and choosing verses that they like and forgetting all the others. Judging is ok and you do have the right to do it if you do it with a good sense. Never judging stifles growth and without judgement you would be dumb. Judging and criticism is helpful and it’s how people learn. Some people are too scared to call anyone out for their horrible actions because they are to afraid to judge and they feel that it’s wrong. I do judge people but usually not off looks and I don’t like to do it too quickly. I also judge peoples actions for what they are, as people are not their mistake. I feel like the verse is saying that you shouldn’t judge people in a way you wouldn’t want to be judged(as in unfairly) and not “never judge”.

Haven't even watched the video yet but I will guess that it has to do with the fact the judgment is different from discernment.
Judgment is mentally putting down someone, for the sake of jockeying above someone in social standing.
Where as discernment is using the word and our conviction to know good from bad, right from wrong.
Edit:
If we are discerning correctly and righteously we should discern with compassion, for when we begin to look down upon someone else, that discernment becomes judgment, and thus is now going against God's commands.

Judgement just means opinion, it's impossible not to have one, the very fact that you are one religion and not another would be passing judgement on that other religion, like a Christian passing judgement on a Muslim or vice versa, unavoidable.

So is it wrong to tell an unbeliever “If you’re not a Christian and do not put your faith in Jesus Christ, you will be judged by God and sent to hell I don’t make the rules. His word is truth.”
