This episode is going be intense, this should've the season premiere, but during filming, it got swapped around, so now it's episode 6, not the way to open a new season of a show that has existed for over 3 decades! But hey, we're now getting it now, that's all that matters! Can't wait!

It appears to me that his ultimate target is finding Sam Beckett. The show leans so heavily on the original Quantum Leap and Scott Bakula denying his involvement could easily be a diversion tactic. God I hope they find Sam.

I hope the show lasts long enough for it to really build momentum and be a successful series. I was a little bit disappointed with the first couple of episodes, but I'm keeping positive. It does seem to get better and better with each episode. Hopefully viewership goes up with it!

So far the new series looks good. I like the fact that the cover the present day as well as the times Ben leaps into. Also interested in the mystery behind Ben leap.

This show really needs to bring Sam home, even if they have to use a different actor.

While I'm not fully into the new series, only having seen the first episode for free, I will purchase the season when it is fully available. As a time travel enthusiast I really am excited about it, even if I didn't feel an "attachment" with that first episode.

It lacks the comedy interaction like Sam and Al have. Justin Hartley has a sense of humor and should have played the lead or sidekick and the sidekick girl should be replaced or stop being so serious in my opinion.

I’m gonna tune in to see why NBC thought this was a weak pilot. The entire show is weak 😅

I had high hopes for this show however they took the original which was great and screwed it up in a new series. In the original Sam jumps into the life of someone as himself with the aura of the other person surrounding him so others see that person. Even Al would see the other person instead of Sam. In this series Ben's spirit jumps into the actual body of someone and somehow his partner can see him as Ben and anyone using the tech can see him as ben dumping on the evil leaper episode in the old series where they could not see another leaper until they touched each other. There are other things as well. At this point I hope there is only 1 season.
