Stay Strong Jon. We're all going to get through this and your music is going to be slammin'. Oh, and use moisturizer on your hands.

Also bought my weekender tickets for Dancefair, but I don't really have faith anymore. I live in the Netherlands and trust me this event is way too big (7000+ people), we need a huge godsend if we want to continue the event :(

Your Idea about separating the old from the young is very good...but probably impossible to do in reality

Can you tell me more about your online music production course? Do you do them in English or only in German? How much does it cost? How does the course look like?

In my opinion, your recommendation not to buy a ticket for any festival or concert in the summer is actually a pretty bad idea, if you want to support the industry, that you and most of us are a part of. At least in Germany the organizers are forced to return money in case of a cancellation. A lot of festivals already confirmed that on there social media (Hurricane Festival as an example). So there is basically no real risk for you as the buyer (at least considering German festivals). If everybody stops buying tickets now, the organizers are maybe forced to cancel all those events due to the decrease in demand, even if the event would have actually been possible considering the health situation. To save the economy and especially our creative community, we should not stop buying tickets for events that are not definitely cancelled so far.
Of course it's different if you are already affected in your own business and you're missing the money to buy those tickets. But if your still got enough cash flow to afford it, you should not stop.

I have pulled out of a gig in the uk this coming sat .. 3 of us planned the night with the first one going well in jan ..I'm gutted but nothing i can do about the current situation .. I would like to see some of your production knowledge on the channel as soon i will be locked away on my DAW .Secretly i think some of us are looking forward to this ..
I lived through the Acid house scene in the U.k way back when .In the middle of the governments adversity toward us for wanting to play music and dance .. ''We kept it going, , So can you just a different challenge..

@Jon Sine, I've been watching your videos for a long time and have found it really helpful. Is it okay if I translate and add subtitles to your videos and share it with more people in my country? I'll put the original links and your name below. Please let me know!

Did you have that one friend who was worried and tried to warn about this virus way before everyone else OR were you that one friend who tried to warn everyone way before?

I live in Canada and been keeping up with everything for a while. Tried to warn everyone around me way before the virus got here but they just wouldn't take me very seriously. Even now that the virus is here they still don't think it's going to get that bad 🙄.

I think they need to establish more strict measures here so that people finally start taking this issue more seriously.

The way Covid-19 seems to be playing out in the UK is the people dying are those with serious preexisting conditions in certain categories and the older you are the greater the mortality rates, like in Italy and if you look at the growing figures here the mortality rate seems higher generally, but this is artificially inflated by the lack of testing, so many people are going unrecorded as having the virus. This is fuelling panic and not helping one bit.
