The crazy thing is he’s just giving advice to people but yet this whole video was very heartfelt because that’s all every DJ ever wants just get the opportunity and he put that out there in this video. Thank you.

you forgot the part about how your first gig is for an empty room and they don't want you to come back because the music is too hard

Nice video. Been doing it 33 years. Took me all over the world. Let me play in front of 1, 000s. And while it's not the 90s any more, it's still the best thing you can do on a Friday night. Enjoy.

Oh man, if only I’ve watched this a year ago. I’m about 90% into what you said. Barely feeling confident to play for a crowd, and almost there with my mixing skills.
I’ve played once for a crown of around 50 people for a friend’s birthday party and everything went really well, but all they wanted was tech/deep house, which I find SO easy to mix. I’m having a bit of trouble learning to mix Brazilian/International pop music.
Brazilian pop has so much of Brazilian funk in it, that makes it clash hard with international ones. Still trying to figure this one out.

was DJ decade and half ago... was a good run that lasted for 8 years... had started on CDJ100 and DJM600... then switched to laptops, Vritual DJ and controllers as my music collection grew to slightly physically impossible to be carried with... Then I got married...

Bro it’s all about the love of the music. I know it’s hard starting but never ever lose focus . Remember your job is for people in the club to have the best experience ever after that you’re name will be out there

Do become a dj, not for the money or fame but for the fun and feels, if your into music djing just elevates that passion, you can take your favourite tracks/songs and blend them change them up, your only limited by your imagination. And if you produce ( I started off producing) it only makes your productions better as you listen too a ton more music, you get familiar with phrases, layers ect. All my music people one love keep at it ❤❤❤❤

I’m so excited but I don’t want to be a club Dj I want to be Dj/ producer. Trance is my love language and I love the process on becoming a Dj. Thank you to all your videos and information because of you my dreams are coming true the best risk I ever took. Thank you 🙏🏽

So go to the venues, speak to the promoters and organisers face to face then they get to know your personality show them your mixes let them know you exist... approach agencies if needed... its worth it but WORK ON THAT PORTFOLIO it helps MASSIVELY!

As much as this is true, due to the modern age, one of the best things you can do for not only practice but also a bit of exposure is djing on vrchat. Vrchat has a massive club scene and parties happen almost every night. All that you really gotta do is find a party, talk around and you could get on next weeks slot. Been djing in vr since 2020 and have had some of my best sets in there. Some of the nicest people too.
