@5:38. Why is this so important. Space exploration is humanities long term insurance policy, to ensure the continuation of the species we must reach out and explore and eventually colonise new worlds, sure not today and not tomorrow but decades or tens of decades or a hundred years from now, but we have to make a start or in this case, a re-start, to get human space flight back out there.

We’re still only in the early stages of space flights history, equal to the Wrights brothers early flight attempts, viewed from a point of a settled colony on Mars or a mission to another Solar System, to a non-stop flight to Sydney, but we must try no matter the costs, either financial or personal. Plus what Chris said.

It cut of for a commercial when it was travelling at an almost unfathomable speed of 18, 000 kph! I live in Montreal. At that speed I can travel to back home to Greece in HALF AN HOUR! Hats off to Elon Musk and Space X! Simply astonishing!

Let's not forget all the research and development, paid for by tax payers' during the cold war, that made this possible, as well as those who gave their lives during the space race in the 1960s.
