My first introduction to Starship was SN5 with the EDA. I stumbled on the live feed of the launch but didn't know what the hell I was looking at. It was mindblowing to see a shiny stainless steel grain silo lift off the ground, hover, then land. Those original videos from the hotel balcony were the beginning of my interest in what has become such an amazing process to watch. Thanks for what you do, Felix. Your updates are great.

1) actually reaching orbit
2) useful payload
2A) Structurally sound Starlink dispenser
2B) deployment solution for large diameter unitary payloads
2C) tanker variant with on orbit fuel transfer

12:24 A great advantage, IMHO, in engines is what might be called "throttle range" so that many can be used at lower thrusts, but if one fails, instead of turning off its opposite number for balance, you increase the thrust of its neighbors to compensate.

Hey Felix, just to add on the v2 starship design, (many seem to forget) but remember the new shape of the common dome they have been testing? This rounder dome, would be able to hold more propellant.

The decision to scrap work-in-progress in favor of version 2 revisions before next flight would surely be based on what could be tested with WIP. For example, supposing an issue with fuel slosh or jacking caused the failed re-lights of booster engines, using WIP to test revisions might be valuable enough to invest more in flying them
