I love how the rocket ships more and more resemble the sci-fi pocket book cover art from the 50's and 60's :)

Elon is already inspiring humanity, he literally made me feel like a kid full of dreams again
Before him i had this feeling space travel was dead and about to be shut down

Joe, they decided to go with ceramic tiles for the heat shield for the Starship re-entry. A heat-shield like the Space Shuttle, but more rugged and thinner ceramic tiles, and hence less weight of ceramic tiles, and thus less weight of the overall vehicle compared to lighter carbon composite that needs thicker heavier tiles.

5:50 I think you might have made a mistake, that booster had a LOT more than 13, 000lb's of thrust at takeoff. 42 Raptor engines with ~450, 000lb of thrust each = 18.9 million lb of thrust.

BEST Channel on youtube! Thank you for consistently bringing it! I'm a mars NUT. I've studied the planet for 51 years now (I'm 59) and always love this stuff. I'm excited about selection for landing sites, as well. All good wishes!

If Elon achieves only half of what he wants, he will go down as one of the greatest visionaries of our time.
