Some car’s brake pedal feels so spongy prevent smoothing braking and stop. I learnt in the red focus and I just couldn’t get used to the brake pedal as it’s so spongy and can’t brake in the smooth way or stopping smoothly! Luckily I have an older petrol car that isn’t spongy and got used to it! This video does help!😊

I learned to break by watching train drivers stopping the local stopping trains when I was 16 and traveling up and down the route all they way up front. They stopped the train as smooth as silk. Watching how they controlled the break handle I realized I could use that when driving a car.

This is exactly why I decline being a passenger in most people's cars; many think that knowing how to drive means observing a speed limit while molesting the pedals and jerking the wheel. Few people actually know how to drive or do anything properly anymore. Watch in traffic next time you're out and see how many vehicles lurch forward as they come to a stop because their drivers don't know how to brake. It's mostly people in crossovers, which makes sense as they wouldn't have bought a crossover if they actually cared about driving. Imagine being the child of one of these people, suffering from motion sickness after being whiplashed multiple times a day.

i'm used to do this on manual but on automatic, car moves forward when you start to release the brake at the end. i have to put the gear in neutral to do this. is there any other way to do this smooth brake on automatics?
