This is an awesome video and I learned a lot. However, I'm having trouble finding a scenario where a lease payment is lower than a finance payment, and it's due to the rates. Not sure about the US, but here in Canada, new car loan rates are about 5-6% but lease rates are minimum 9%, making the payments way more.

Just left a dealership after a test drive. Didn’t sit down for numbers. Told him I’d let him know when I’m ready. Time to refer to your book on how to structure my deal seeking emails for a lease.

I always thought oh buying a car or financing it is better because what you’re paying for is going to the car. Realistically speaking from experience, I never pay off cars because they either keep breaking (used cars my fault) or I get bored and not pay them off or enough = negative equity. Now that I’m in the market, I got more knowledge and I found out leasing costs much less at least in my area. So I will be leasing and getting something brand new for me and my little ones! Thank you for this eye opening information!

Realizing that when I leave this world I cannot take anything with me, not even my vehicles. So lease does make sense.

I plan on getting a car soon. My credit score is 640, and yes, i am currently working on my credit . i want a new car or it can be used but i prefer a new car. i want it to be a birthday present for me, which my Bday is April 8. im taking my time looking. i dont want to keep the new car i plan on getting, so should i lease or finance?

This assumes financing but do you have an example if the buyer can pay cash? In that case what would make the most sense?

Well I guess you answered that question

Is there a value to not using all of your annual miles on a lease?😊

I don’t believe a 40k car is worth only 14k after 6 years. Ive been trying to find cars like this. I think it would be closer to 19 or 20k

how about buying out the lease and the end of 3 years? making the payments a little more affordable in the beginning

Would you buy a used car without using a loan if it is a decent price or avoid that because I know in general buying a car at full price isn't smart but was just curious do you think doing it with a used car make sense
