California Fires: 10 dead in Los Angeles County

The fires popping up nonstop across Los Angeles County over the last three days have left survivors and evacuees devastated as many lost everything from the blaze.

California fires are wreaking havoc on Los Angeles as crews battle several massive blazes, including the Kenneth Fire, Sunset Fire, Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Lidia Fire, Hurst Fire and Woodley Fire. Areas impacted include the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Palisades, West Hills, Altadena, Pasadena, Sylmar, Acton and parts of Ventura County.

I feel so bad for the people that lost their lives in that wild fires. God please heal the families that lost their loved ones ones. Houses can be replaced, but you can’t replace lives. Some of these people had sentimental value and memories that can’t be replaced. Most of the families are pretty wealthy and have insurance I hope. We just can’t take life for granted anymore and it’s so much evilness is happening in this country. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Please stay strong and closer to God and we’ll get through it. RIP for the lost families and the animals that was lost too. The thought of losing your love one really hurts my heart. God please protect us and continue with your healings.

LA Mayor Karen Bass reduced fire department funding by $17.6 million months before the wildfires. Despite being aware of the firefighters' need for this funding, she chose not to prioritize it. Now, California is facing severe destruction, and this decision is being scrutinized. This is being attributed to her appointment based on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) criteria. DEI failed California.
