Latest on Southern California wildfires

Firefighters are working to contain the Palisades Fire in Pacific Palisades and the Eaton Fire in Altadena-Pasadena. The fires are blamed for at least 10 deaths, have destroyed thousands of businesses and homes, and have forced tens and thousands of residents out of their homes.

I don't care if you are a millionaire living in a mansion, a middle class person living in a modest house, a homeless person living in a makeshift shelter you constructed yourself, a bird living in a nest, or anything in between, but your home is your HOME. It is a refuge, a place to sleep in peace, where you go to rest when the world becomes too much. And when you lose your home, you lose that sense of safety, security, refuge and peace. It is devastating, heartbreaking, scary and sad for any human or animal that loses their home. Praying that all affected find peace and recover.
