California fires: LA fire hydrants run out of water; 10 dead, wildfire spreads to 20,000 acres

At least 10 people have died and thousands of structures destroyed by the California wildfires. Over 180,000 people have been evacuated, and another 200,000 residents are under evacuation warning. More than 10,000 buildings have been razed by the fires, touted to be the most destructive in the history of Los Angeles.

In the face of disaster, everyone is equal, and the losses people suffer are equally devastating. It’s truly heartbreaking. This fire spread so quickly that many people could only hastily pack their belongings and leave. This reminds us of the importance of being prepared even in peaceful times. We should have emergency supplies ready in our daily lives, such as fire blankets, headlights, safety ropes, Jackery solar generators, gas masks, and other essentials. Hoping LA recovers soon. I’m a retired SF Bay Area firefighter, we were trained to use fireboats & fire engines draft saltwater from the bay in last ditch efforts. Fire pumps can be flushed out or replaced! Flow some Santa Monica bay water already! Use large vats to store the saltwater and mobile engines can draft from them.

Why has the government not flooded the city with sea water. A pumps and pipes could have flooded the city. The government must support the people who elected them . They could help the people of Ghana later

Good for you! Do you empathize with those who lost homes and lives in this fire? Can you say why this L.A fire directly emulates the previous Hawaii fire?
Do you really think that it's natural for a "Wildfire" to spontaneously wipe out a whole residential development and leave shrubs & trees unscathed?
Maybe it would be appreciated by those who are devastated if you asked your Senitor how a forrest fire could heat up to levels that are capable of melting aluminum car rims, and glass car windshields?
While your at it maybe ask to be updated on why our levels of governing bodies figure that it just fine if individuals & families end up homeless? Obviously they see some benefit in it so why don't you get some answers?
Possibly, Make America Great Again, " includes caring for America's civilians who are being arbitrarily priced right out of their family homes!
