Turkey is nice if you want to visite even more Greek monuments and historical sites. Its truly educational to watch the turkish national turist spot, in which you will see 9/10 ancient greek and byzantine monuments and historical sites. Mesmerizing.

only one thing to correct: Turkey is the world's 6th most visited country with over 45 million tourists, whereas Greece hosted 30 million tourists. Unlike the video says, Turkey is more popular as a tourist destination (data is from 2018).

Both countries are beautiful, however, Greece is a much more consistently beautiful country throughout in every corner. Much more so than Turkey. Why? Simple. Turkey has mostly mountainous high altitude differences all around the edges of the country and that is beautiful..But the inland is one big massive and far less appealing plateau. As "nice" as that sounds, it's landscapes are far more dull on average than it's more side areas. Greece on the other hand is 80% mountains, with 16.000 km of coastline, with the most complex topography and geography one can have, with 6000 islands dotted around a mainland. Greece's biggest secrets is it's mainland and it's many mountain ranges and incredible diversity all around. Both countries are steeped in history, both of them all attributed to Greek history as both Turkey and Greece have been Greek throughout millennia.
In any case. Both countries are beautiful and very diverse. But between the 2 hands-down Greece is much more stunning throughout. O, and a very important side note. I have been to both countries many times. In Greece noone has ever bothered me or my wife. In Turkey however, we have been scammed ( or tried to) endlessly, and men touching my wife's butt on some of our travels without me knowing. This is a BIG no no. Which is also the reason why my wife prefers Greece way above Turkey.

that's probably the funniest comparison i have ever seen. with the exception of natural landscapes and antiquities, which are technically identical to both countries, each of them has vastly different things to offer in terms of man-made sights and stuff.

If you want to see more Southern European style things, you will visit Greece or South Italy, if you want to see more Asian things, visit Turkey. Otherwise, in both countries the natural landscape is not vastly different
