How to build an aesthetic crop farm that is also semi-automatic! This build is perfect if you want a nice looking wheat / carrot / potato / beetroot farm but you also want to be able to harvest it quickly!

• 40 spruce fences
• 16 spruce buttons
• 13 spruce trapdoors
• 12 spruce slabs
• 4 spruce fence gates
• 4 spruce stairs
• 1 spruce pressure plate

• 8 dark oak logs
• 5 chains
• 4 stone brick
• 4 stone brick stairs
• 4 stone brick walls

• 32 blocks (to place redstone on)
• 15 redstone dust
• 8 redstone repeaters
• 8 sticky pistons
• 1 redstone torch

• 1 stack + 16 seeds
• 2 water buckets
• 1 hoe
• 1 torch

If you’re doing this in survival, I would recommend using a button instead of a pressure plate, bcs a mob can activate your farm, or you could use a diamond pressure plate, also they can jump the blocks next to the fence, if you use slabs instead of the trapdoors they can’t get over it

hi! love the video, it was really easy to understand and the farm is so cute! :>

for anyone like me who's trying to make this in survival and doesn't have any slimes nearby to make sticky pistons, i managed to make this using regular pistons!! here's how :)

I haven't really tried this multiple times so I'm not sure what the most optimised setup would be, but basically I used regular pistons in place of all of the sticky pistons, and placed sand on the pistons that would be directly next to the block of water for the water source (directly in front and to the side, not diagonal). It works because sand will naturally fall with the piston, you dont need sticky pistons to retract it! so when you press the pressure plate (or replace that with a button as another comment suggested) for the pistons to drop down, the sand drops down and the water flows out just as intended :)

Cool looking design, but I would replace pressure plate with a button. Mobs could trigger it while you're not looking, only for you to return and find no crops, several farmland converted to dirt, and a random sheep wondering around inside.
