This Is my review of the Dewalt 735 Thicknesser. I planed up so many lengths of timber. The dewalt thicknesser to put it through its passes. The Thicknesser held up really well. With fantastic build quality and heaps of features it is easily the best thicknesser in its class.

I also decided to change the blades around on the machine. Dewalt does a great job of making the process as simple as possible.

That was one hell of a review mate, thanks for making the video. Truthfully, the lumber you were throwing through that planer was gnarly, this was a true test of the planer. I appreciate how much you considered the ergonomics in your review score, but your voice was telling me you were really happy to own this top of the line machine.

All the best, good luck to any projects you use this awesome machine for.

Just a heads up that I have picked up along the way, is when you are changing/rotating blades, and have her taken all apart, it is a good time to clean the pitch and debris off of the chip breaker (the piece that the blades rest on (which are super sharp too, so be careful, I made a plastic tool myself to clean these) and spraying them down with a dry silicone before installing the blades will make it much easier to clean next run. Also, running some of that dry spray/or paste wax on the bottom bed helps the boards slide through the machine much easier and even helps reduce Snipe even more. Great video brother...I am looking into a new planer, because mine is about 17 years old and a hand me down, so I am getting excited for the Holidays this year :)

Hi can you feet endgrain wood slices through this?

It’s not self feeding? I owned a cheap Ryobi planer and never had to push the material through.

Do you have to push the stock through yourself? Doesn't it have feed-rollers?
