I love how they are discussing something Marty actually caused in that same area 60 years ago, but for Marty he did it like a day before.

Why the heck did they delete this? It answers one of the big questions we've asked: why Biff specifically chose November 1955 as the date to go back to.

They should have kept this scene in the movie. That would explain why Biff chose November 12th, 1955.

It explains why Biff choose this day to give himself the almanach : terry reminded him this day and where young Biff will be that day.

When Robert Zemeckis was editing Part 2 he was also filming Part 3, resulting in incredibly long working days. He has stated that he feels the editing of Part 2 may have suffered from his compromised attention, and I suspect that the cutting of this scene is a result of that. Most of the deleted scenes for Part 2 are either extentions of intact scenes snipped for pacing or scenes cut for other reasons, such as Dave being cut because Linda's actress was unavailable and they felt Marty shouldn't meet 1 sibling and not the other and Old Biff fading away being cut because test audiences found him fading out confusing when he then appears in 1955 later in the movie (It made sense to me, but hey, I could see where they were coming from), but this is the one scene that I feel really should have been kept in.

And I always wondered why terry looked like someone who we should've seen in the past as his younger self

the man who plays Terry is Charles Fleischer. He did the voice of Roger Rabbit in who framed Roger Rabbit.

As much as this could be motivation for Biff to go back to November 12th 1955 cause that date was still fresh in his mind cause of this, it contradicts itself when old Biff says later "The manure. I remember that." As if he had not heard about that incident in like 60 years, but with this scene, he was always reminded of it.

So that's who that dude is; it's bugged me for years.

See, this proves my theory that what people percieve as casuality, is often actually causality.
One big question about the 2nd movie was why did Biff go back to the exact same day as they did in BTTF1? This is why: because it was an important day DUE to Marty's interference. Not a coincidence.

They really should have kept this scene in the film.

Interesting to see that Pontiac makes a comeback in 2015! ;)

oh! I've always wondered why they put an actor with makeup to look older, instead of one that was already old.

This was funny! I wonder why they cut it.

This scene is so important, and less than 30 seconds, why was it cut?

In the finished film, Old Terry's line "Lighting struck that thing, 60 years ago." intercutted with the announcement that the Cubs won the World Series against Miami. And if you look closely, you can see that it is all of a sudden almost evening.

And as we all know, the Cubs lost the 2015 World Series.

Why am I just finding out that this guy is an older version of the guy who fixed Biff's car?

Fun Fact: Terry is played by the guy who voices Roger Rabbit.

Would be interesting to watch the movie with all deleted scenes slotted in. I think a lot of things would make more sense

This was another well done & very enjoyable scene that would have fit perfectly in the 2015 beginning...
